The code is the anti theft code. did you get the car new? If so the code will be somehwere in the original documentation that came with the car. The other option is to go to a Honda dealer who should be able to recover the code from their computer records using the car chassis number and/or the radio serial number HIH

Check the Honda Service History book the first page says 'Pre-Delivery Inspection' it should have the 4 digit pin written there..If you have it, disconnect the battery again, should reset and enter the code. If you dont have this, the dealer is the only that has the code. Im not sure what they will charge........but they dont call them stealerships for nothing. Good luck

I disconnected the battery 1999 honda accord and the radio asked for a 5 digit code, but i don't know whatit is.

You must contact the dealership with the VIN of you car (found on the metal plate on the driver side of the dash up by the windshield) and some form of ID that you own the car. A Honda dealership should be able to give you this code then. It is an antitheft mechanism. They may or may not charge you, unfortunately. WRITE IT DOWN. You will need it any time you replace the batter or if the battery goes dead.

Sometimes codes can take a bit to reset themselves. More than an hour sometimes. I would think the dealership would have the exact code for it. I unfortunately do not have that code at this time. Sometimes the radio code will reset but not always. If it does not come on soon you will have to have it coded at the dealership through their scanner/computer. Good luck.

Solo el dealer mas cercano te pede alludar con eso. Nesesitas el vin del carro cual le pertiene el radio. Muchos lugares piden ir en persona con radio en mano para evitar contra el robo de pieasas.

majority of American HONDA codes may be available here You will require the car VIN number and Radio serial Number If they cannot provide your code then you will have to tryyour HONDA Main Dealer .....or a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop toread/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
