I had absolutely no trouble installing this camera on Vista. However, the picture lag is TERRIBLE. I have a mic that I've been trying to use along with it, but because of the lagging, the audio and video do not synch up at all. There's also plenty of blurriness whenever I move. Any help? Suggestions? Please??

Make sure you have the latest version of flash player installed. What browser are you using? If it's chrome, make sure there aren't multiple versions of flash player enabled by opening a new tab and going to chrome://plugins. Are you having trouble with local video (on the machine itself) as well? If so, you may need to update your graphics drivers. If none of the above are helpful, try downloading and installing the latest version of the k-lite codec pack
This is not a problem with your equipment it is a server issue with the NHL or EA servers, it also depends on the hosting gamer an where they are when you enter into a game online.
Try hosting a game yourself and see what the connection is like then, if your connection is good then the host of the games you play is the problem, but if you have connection problems when you host a game then EA servers are the problem....You may need to wait a month or so till they upgrade they server capacity to take the loads.
there really isn't, sad to say. I too used to take photos of my grandchildren and got really tire of getting an "after the cute smile, or event" image. (back of head, etc). I upgraded to a DSLR camera and no longer have that problem. I use the continuous shooting mode, so it shoots several images in a row, and I don't miss a thing!!!!!
Yes, unfortunately, USB ports just aren't fast enough for live vocals. Some stereo setups have longer lag times than others, as well. A couple of ms is very noticeable. Have you tried adjusting the settings on the game? Go to "Options" on the Home Screen and select "Calibrate Lag." Here you can delay either your Audio or your Video in 1 ms increments to try to adjust for lag times. You may find a happy medium after adjusting these settings.
If the Operating System (OS) is Clean/fresh and has no bug's nor any laggy applications running behind while the program is being run.. Possibly there isnt ample amount of Ram Assigned for the Built-In Video card to use hence it disconnects when its unable to provide more, look into your notebook's Bios to assign that.. 128mb is the most commonly amount to speak of..
Card speed won't interfere with shutter lag.
The lag is much less (near non-existent) if you pre-focus. Or use manual focus with small enough aperture to get lots of depth of field. Make sure your kids are in the focus zone and just snap away.
we're talking milliseconds... my camera takes the picture when i press the trigger and sometimes its so fast that accidentally take the picture before i have focus lock (that my error not the cameras, i just get trigger happy sometimes)
