I've bought a new Harddisk last Saturday (IBM 30GB, 7200 rpm). This
HD-Master will be used for work and internet (I use my old 5400 rpm IBM
HD, 10 GB for PC game, which is for slave).
I've installed the Chinese Win 98SE for my OS in this new HD. When I
use my Yamaha 8824 SCSI CDRW and the Adapte Direct CD to copy file, it
always hang up, it hangs up terribly and I need to reboot my PC. I
don't know what happen to use the Easy CD Creator (4.0), perhaps the
situation is the same.
I also tried to remove the existing English version Direct CD
and ECDC, then install chinese version (Because my OS is CWin), but
can't be help.
For my other HD (OS is English Win98SE) has no problem to use this. Do
you think I'll need a patch from Adaptec? Which patch should I use?
Seem to be many patch from Adaptec. Or you think the SCSI driver
has problem?

Often english versions are updated more often. Yes, the scsi driver is the
likely problem.
