Question about SanDisk Sansa Fuze MP3 Player
Hey i need help :). I have hooked my Sansa Fuze 4GB up to my computer after buying it and it does not show up in my computer but its working because it says "New Hardware Found: USB Mass Storage Device" in a lil'bubble. If anyone can help me i would like you to email at email@example.com (or post it on here ill try to check soon) or if you're really nice you could call me :)
Thanks to whoever helps me :D
I had this problem, and when I switched the FUZE to "MSC" mode, and plugged it in, it appeared as a drive.
Apparently you need Windows Media player 11 to work in "MTP" mode, and I only have 9 -- I am guessing that the "USB autodetect" mode of the Fuze chose MTP mode, but without the drivers that one gets with WMP 11 I am guessing the fuze remains "invisible" to the computer.
In short -- either install WMP 11, or switch the fuze to "MSC" mode (under "Settings -> System Settings->USB Mode

I had the same probleme with my sansa fuze. what i did was call the customer service, they walked me through my copmuter and helped me figure it all out.
you can look through you windows media player, my computer, and if after customer service you still havnt got you player working, might just be a bad one.
i had to exchange for another, and this one works.
