Videos on my my powerbook G4 are choppy. what do i do?

It is quite difficult to find them on the Apple site!

I did a bit of research and the G4 appears to use the ATI Radeon chipset. These are the drivers provided by apple on their site.

Hey there, here is some of my Powerbook info. Is the update you suggested, compatible with my system? This Powerbook G4 was given to me by a friend in L.A. but I'm scared to make a wrong move and I don't want to screw anything up as I'm currently in Germany over the holiday season and I would hate to have no MAC because of an incorrect installation. Just checked the spec and you appear to have a newer model powerbook which could have either an ATI or nvidia graphics card installed.

Click on the apple icon and select 'About this Mac'.
Then click again on 'More Info' from the list and select 'Graphics/Displays' option.

As soon as you do that, a text box will open along with the required information about the video card.

If it states "ATI" or "Radeon" anywhere you need to download the driver fromhttp://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/dr...
