AS-H126PBL2 Coil is freezing up and water suudenly overfloors into the room floor and soak the carpets furniture etc. this happens in brand new Art Cool AS-H126PBL2. even the local agents cannot solve this problem and I do not recomend this Art Cool model to. all the known people whom got this particular model has the same problem. We people in Sri-Lanka must not go for this model as the Agent Abans Limited cannot solve this problem.

Water from condensation removed draining into the room.

Water is draining inside because your jury-rigged A/C is pitched the wrong way. Also, you are likely to find a wet carpet is the least of your problems when your incorrectly installed A/C winds up on the first floor or, worse yet, on top of someone. Find out whether an indoor A/C will work instead.

You could have a pin hole in your refrigeration line. The mist is probably the refrigerant coming out. Check the coil very carefully to see signs af any breaks. You may also have a bad drainage and the water is accumilating inside the unit. The fan blades can throw the water against the filter. Look inside for standing water. Good luck!

My wife had a similar problem w/ a toyota matrix, I found that the drain tube came from under the dash under the carpet, and was not connected to the black abs plastic tube that is the drain line from the a/c, re attached with a small hose clamp and the problem went away.
It is located on passenger floor board top toward the center console, you can lift the carpet back and see it.
Hope this helped.

Throws or sprays lots of water out the front on a daily basis which is soaking the carpet and furniture. The window unit is over ten years old and has been running non-stop for at least 5 years.

Hi,
It sounds like that unit is getting a bit low on charge and is freezing up a bit....maybe even needs a good cleaning of the indoor coil... that would make it freeze also.

Can you connect a pipe from the drain pan to a drain? This would get rid of the moisture within the room instead of just recycling it.

Carpet wet under window air con.

The air conditioner needs to be "tilted" or "pitched" to the rear. By this I mean the back (outside) should be slightly lower than the front (inside). This will allow the water to run toward the back of the unit, and drip on the ground instead of inside the house - on the floor. The A/C unit must not be level or tilted into the room (front even with or lower than the rear).

This water is the result of condensation that is created when the warm room air is drawn through the much cooler coil & fins inside the unit and is completely normal. The more humid the air inside is, the more condensation will form, and drain away.

Good luck!
