Paper stuck on roller

  • jobcello Jul 14, 2008

I stuck a piece of shiny paper in the bed, not realizing what could happen. When I tried to print, it jammed, and then when I pulled out the jammed paper, there was a section of the top shiny layer missing. Now when I print other things on normal paper, that whole side of the sheet comes out almost invisible, as if the toner is sticking to the paper that got left in the machine.

Hi, it sounds like the shiny layer has adhered itself to your fuser roller. You will need a technician to change the fuser roller

Konica Minola 2300DL laser printer. When I try to print, it jams at the printer rollers just before the paper ejects. It fan folds in the top rollers There is no paper stuck anywhere?

I would closely examine the exit roller. When the paper fans; it's sticking on something. Typically, stuff will ":hide" on rollers; or maybe stuck on a sensor. Using a good flashlight will help.

Paper is pulled sideways infrom feeder....

Look for possible dirt or sticky material in the roller. use some methy spirit to clean the rollers that take up the paper.
Check if there is any paper stuck on to the rollers, if so remove and clean.
Check if there is any wearing of the rollers, alignment of the rollers.
Finally use printer paper as thin paper might be chewed in.
Hope you check with my advice.

When printing paper gets stuck. Not rolling thourh

LANIER COPIER PROBLEM SIMILAR TO RICOH COPIER PROBLEM AND IF THE PAPER GOT STUCK ,FIRST YOU MUST SEE AT WHICH
LEVEL/IS IT CRUMBLEB OR JUST MESHED THROUGH OR JUST UNABLE TO PASSED OUT FROM TRAY.
IF PASSED OUT FROM TRAY BUT STUCK AT DUPLEX AREA ,THAT MEANS YOUR FINGER AND MYLAR/RUBBER ROLLER MUST BENDED OR NO GRIP SO YOU HAVE TO REPLACED IT.
IF STUCK FROM THE TRAY, EITHER YOU DID NOT NOT " FAN" THE PAPER BEFORE USE AS NO AIR BETWEEN THE PAPAERSOR HAVE TO REPLACE THE PAD AND UPLIFT ROLLER RUBBER[1 PIECE ONLY PER TRAY]
IF STUCK AT FUSER AREA,JUST CHECK THE UPPER & LOWER ROLLER, THERE SHOULD BE THE ROLLERS NOT MEET TOGETHER. NEE MORE CLARIFICATION

Paper stuck - took it out -printer says 6A00 and computer says 5c10 - is there more paper stuck

Possible cause of the problem:

1. There still a tiny worn paper stuck in the printer roller.
2. Printer roller needs cleaning for any dust or dirt.

Solutions:
1. Check and look for any tiny worn paper inside the printer roller.
2. Clean your printer roller. Just wipe it using any soft cloth or anything as long as it is soft.
2. Reboot your printer.

Take note: You should turn off your printer while doing this to prevent electric shock.

Hope this could help you..Thanks..:-)

Wrinkling Laser Paper

Sounds like something is either wrong with the rollers, something is stuck in there or you are using the wrong type of paper.

I suggest you take a peek inside there and see if there is anything noticeably wrong inside. If not then look up what type of paper it needs.

Paper gets wrinkled in the paper guide and gets stuck

The "pick-off fingers" are supposed to be contacting the roller. They have tension springs that pull them down. One of yours have come off, or possibly the finger has broken off where the spring connects, so now the paper is running into it rather than crossing over it.
In the interest of saving a service call, and time. You can simply twist it off with a pair of pliers. Be careful not to bend any brackets/housings. It will run fine with 1 removed.
Eventually the fuser rollers will need to be replaced in your machine, and you can have a new finger installed if you want.
Please rate me. :)

HP 2600n Ironing transfer paper jammed around top roller

It is probably stuck permanently, and the fuser will need to be replaced. I believe the "fuser replacement" instructions are in the manual.

Paper Jam

1st, you need to find out exactly where the paper is getting stuck.
Is the paper stopping just as it gets to the rollers, or
stops when it goes through the rollers and are getting stuck on the little fuser claws?
If the paper is stopping right when it gets to the rollers, then there is a problem with the fuser drive or drive gears.
This you would probably need to place a service call to have repaired.
If the paper is getting stuck in the claws, then make sure that the claws are not stuck down. All claws should be up against the rollers, both upper and lower claws.
Sometimes they get stuck down or the spring gets knocked off.
Other than that, as long as both upper and lower fuser rollers are in good condition, paper should pass through.

If you have any other questions, feel free to repost.
Good luck.

Please see that any thing like paper pick roller or any sensor is broken else wrongly aligned for smooth flow.
Kindly be sure that you are using the right paper for your printer( Donot use used paper. Or Damp or curly paper)

If possible see that roller and sensers are fixed and Tightly fitted( Properly do not tight with Force)

Align the tray properly if nothing works Please update me I will provide further Solution).
