Question about Gigabyte GA-6BX7 Motherboard
My computer (Pentium III) does not startup, please help me to solve this problem.
the system ran smoothly for long time, i feel the speed of the computer is slow. the bootup screen shows me 466E Mhz instead of showing 933 Mhz the actual speed written in the processor is 933 Mhz /256 /133 /1.7v. I tried to make it faster so i opened the case and saw the wire of case speaker is pluged out, i pluged it its place and rebooted the system. there is syren sound continuesly beeped even windows startup. i removed as before. in the mother board there are two tables mentioned RATIO and another is CLK. below this table there is blue color 8 pin switch box present. the 4 & 5 numbers are set to ON positon i tried to over clocking the processor. so i move the 2 & 3 & 7 pin to ON and started the system that time the bootup screen shows 768 Mhz. and the windows work little fast. I was happy i work windows for 20 minutes the mouse and keyboard stopped working ie computer hangs up. i restarted the system there is same problem the windows started and the system hangs up i tried 3 times but no result. once again i replaced the pins to its original position and started the sytem now there is no display in the screen. i want to test the mother board and processor and ram. i pluged the speaker wirs and removed the ram and started the system. now there is no beeping sound. i removed the processor and started, nothing happend i removed VGA card hard disk Cd drive, found nothing. i clean the ram placed it to its original postion and many times i canged the pins to On and Off and checked, but not work.
when i turn on the computer the light of power led and hard disk drive led and the mother board led are lighting and the processor fan and the case fan also working. i checked the ram and VGA card in another computer, they are working well. this problem i already posted to you people, one of your advise me to remove the cmos battery for 15 minutes. i tried but no use. please help i love my computer very much. you know OLD IS GOLD. how can i know the mother board, the ram, the processor have problem.

You might have damaged the CPU/ motherboard during the process of overclocking.
Check your CPU on other compatible mobo.
Check your mobo documentation properly & set the jumpers rightly. If that doesn't help, you will have to replace the mobo.
