Yes I did fix the problem myself which turned out to be a lot more serious than I first thought. I did get the pc to shut down but honestly I don't quite know how. But as I said there was a lot more going on I had no internet and all of my system began to close down until I could not use anything at all.

I tried calling EMachines tech support but they were no help because I am out of warranty/ I called AT&T tech support and they coul'nt help. Finally my husand got a book from the library and I fixed it myself.

Since you did not complete your session and did not try to get in touch with me again after I lost contact with you I feel that you did not fulfill your obligation to take care of the problem and therefore I should not be charged for the session. Your ad says that if you do not fix my problem then I do not have to pay, and you did not fix my problem.

I hope to hear from you soon regarding this matter.

Yours Sincerely. Mrs Pauline M Wilcox.

    aka. Tuppenny1940.

How do I completely shut down talkback on my galaxy axiom? I have already disabled it, but it just won't stop. It is making it difficult for me to google search or type in usernames and passwords.

In certain conditions, the talk back is still operating even when you already turned off the option. The possible reason for it is that you have Google Text To Speech (Google TTS) and/or Samsung TTS and you need to disable them in order to completely disable talk back mode on your phone.

Here are the complete steps to do:
  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Application manager.
  3. Tap Running tab.
  4. Tap All tab.
  5. From here, disable Google Text to Speech Engine and also disable Samsung TTS.
  6. Tap Home button to return to the standby mode.

E-machines E-527-2537 laptop Windows 7. when I turn it on the "starting windows" screen comes on then the screen turns black showing on the mouse pointer. Can you help?

Allow it to boot - sometime it takes several minutes. An unfinished process is possibly trying to complete because it was interrupted when it was shut down during the last session - please be patient. If it takes more than an hour to complete, then there might be a valid problem. Otherwise, wait.

I was accidently disconnected with my tech supporter. I have already paid my $20 fee

Please invite another chat assistance without accepting the last disconnected session. You can invite or seek as many assistances as you wish until your problem is fixed and until most helpful session is accepted. Good luck.

Avg 8.5 license number

You have to pay AVG for it. If you've already paid, talk to them via their web site support pages.

If you're after the cut down free version go to and follow the links for AVG free.

I was on Fixaya and paid 29.99 and didn't have any resolution. OI have Skype and everything works but I cannot hear my friends and they can hear me clear as if I was in the room with them.

I had to remove the Skype that came with my computer, then re-install the new not forget to shut your Norton firewall and add Windows Firewall instead. Adjust speakers and microphone with the new version of Skype, adjust levels and keep the Norton Firewall shut and use only windows. Then reconfigure Skype with your own settings and restart your computer. Leave it for about 2 minutes and start the computer again. Choose your new settings for internet ,as it was not working, and open Internet Explorer to see if it works. Then call someone on Skype to see if they can hear you and it worked very well.

The session with the gentleman that came online didn't seem to know anything about Skype and was at a loss to help me. Also, he didn't really have any suggestions that could help me. The session was cut short and I think he shut it off.

Thank you for the reimbursement as nothing was solved as per your agreement.

Kind Salutations to you all

My laptop won't shut down properly!

Is it possible that you have changed the settings of what buttons do what on your system? E.g. you could have changed the power button to "switch user" instead of "shut down", to check this (in XP) go to "Power Options" (in Control Panel" and then click on the "Advanced tab" at the top, then select "Shut down" from the drop down menu at the bottom of the window.

If this is already set to shut down then maybe you could do a system restore in case another setting has been changed, restore it to before the PC started doing this.

Alternatively try actually choosing "Turn off Computer" from the Log On screen (press Ctrl + L to get to this screen, or choose switch user/log off). If you are using Vista I beleive that there is a shut-down option from the Log In Page there (which again you can access by pressing Ctrl + L on the keyboard.

Hope this helps!
