I installed a wireless mouse in my laptop but touchpad does't work

is the mouse still attached when the touchpad doesn't work or does it still not work when you detach the mouse, if it works after detaching the mouse, your computer automatically disables the touchpad when a mouse is plugged in.

Can move the mouse but not clikc with the touchpad

Hi,

if you installed an external mouse, it would over-ride the touchpad.
try removing the external mouse, and tap the touchpad twice as if you were double clicking it.
also you could try re-installing the touchpad device driver, usually synoptics or similar.

Laptop mouse stopped workig ??

In your case it maybe that the mouse is disabled, this is done with a function key, FN and one of the F1- F12 keys.

make sure the mouse is not disabled.

if this doesn't solve the issue.
it may possibly be:
  1. Software issue.
  2. cut cable.
  3. broken touchpad.
  4. issue between the touchpad and motherboard.
  5. faulty motherboard..
