Question about LG Electronics LRM-519 Digital Media Recorder
I'm no computer person can you explain what these are "c18 and c36 both are 2200uf at 10v" - can I go out and purchase these?
These are capacitors. The c18 and c36 are the location of the capacitors on the power supply board. The 2200uf is the capacitance of the capacitor and the 10v in the voltage the capacitor can handle. You should be able to purchase these at radio shack or most electronic supply stores. However to replace them you will need to know how to desolder the old caps and resolder in the new ones. I just got through repairing one of these units and to extend the life I used a higher voltage value cap. If you need anymore help or can't find the caps feel free to contact me email@example.com
