After just few times usage of my LG range LRE30453st, oven paint is peeling off in quite few areas. I have extended warranty but Best Buy and LG are playing ping pong with me. They say it is cosmetic problem. Could you tell me if it can be repaired, is it toxic to use oven in such condition?

I have 2007 lexus es350. The paint is peeling around the sunroof. What can I do?

would be the clear coat peeling you are seeing
should not need a full roof respray unless very bad

best option
get a quote from a car spray painter re-gel coat the roof
takes a fine sanding the roof area that is peeling
and a few coats of clear cote gel
and buff to a great finish

My LG electric range overheats every time it is turned on

If the sensor you changed is the rod type one in the oven itself then the only other thing possible is the control board where you set the temperature. The sensor works with that board to control oven temp.

Has the relay board on the lre30453st changed from four relays(oven, broiler, left, and right) to two relays(oven and broiler)? If so, can I just bypass the left and right relays?

Expert John Wickman posted on Feb 09, 2017

If you have the LRE30453ST/02 it has four relays on the board. Most of the relay boards being sold online are for the older model /00 and /01. A few places have the right oven relay board. You are looking for EBR73323501.

Have a lg oven lre30453st that the oven doent work the displa shows F7 clear the clock and unpluged it for 5min and still doesnt work.push the bake button it showed 375 thena second later went to...

Be sure you have 230 volts across the red and black wires at the terminal block the power cord attaches to. I suspect you have only one line to the range.

It is simpler to check a portion of the range first. Go to the relay board for the bake and broil elements. Check for incoming voltage between the red and black wires. You should have 230 volts all the time.

Set the oven control to bake at 350 degrees and check between the yellow and black wires that go to the bake element. You should have 230 volts. If you have 0 volts, check between the yellow wire that goes to the bake element and the black wire that goes to the terminal block of the range. If you have 230 volts here, the DLB relay on the relay board is bad. This will prevent bake and broil from working.

We can go through the relay board for the cooktop. I think it is best to eliminate one problem at a time.

LG Range LRE30453ST Error Code F-7 oven heating takes long time.

Loo I am going to tell ALL LG rang owners on thing, they worked on my top two stage burner, after that the oven either would not heat up or take for ever to come to temp. Now the oven superheats, set it to 320 degs F and it goes to over 600 deg's F. I called LG and got NO HELP AT ALL, so I went to the Consumer Products Safety Commission and filled a complaint about the range! I suggest you do the same!

LG Range LRE30453ST quit working. Breaker in panel shows appropriate voltage rating, range receptacle shows appropriate voltage rating, and power cord connection shows appropriate voltage rating. The...

I can tell you aren't familar with house wiring. So we will start from the beginning. Circuit breakers are rated by the AMPERAGE that it can handle. When there is a current surge above the rated AMPERAGE the breaker is supposed to trip. When the breaker trips it doesn't always trip all the way to the side, sometime it looks okay so shut the circuit breaker off and reset it and then do it again to make sure you did it right the first time. If that does not cure your problem you might have blown your thermal fuse (Item #5016) or blown the power control board (Item #5070)

But since the display screen is also completely blank it could be one of the PCBs in the control panel.

Does not hold oven temperature

I have the same problem. I had a repairman come out and they told me it was the control panel and thermo sensor. Replaced both and still didn't fix the problem! Can't return the parts and now into the stove for over $370! I wish I had put that money towards a new stove :-(
