Logitec webcam not working since vista service pack download

My pro 5000 webcam keeps freezing up

    When it freezes up, does it lock up the computer at all?



    Do you have any memory resident programs running?

controlpanel .....> Add remove programs remove camera software

and install software again also u do change usb port

I have a Quick cam pro 5000 webcam no software for it I am using Vista Oparating system


Go to the logitech website - identify your webcam and download the software - do not connect the webcam until prompted

Does not install


Uninstall all logitec drivers then go to logitec website download latest drivers for whichever platform your using ie xp or vista etc...Do not plug in camera until told to do so or it will never work good luck

Microphone not working


Look in your system tray( next to the clock in the lower right hand side corner)
Locate the Volume Control and double click on it
Verify if the box by Microphone volume isn't muted

You need to go to logitech's site and get the new version - i believe its 10.15.0 or somewhere around there.

Logitec Pro 5000 not being recognised by USB Port


Hi .
Had same problem:
uninstall quickcam 5000 v11.50 drivers.
install quickcam 4000 v10.51 .
There is few files missing ( /removed) from version 11.50.
