Mouse Problem Trust Wireless Optical Mouse MI-4910D Hi i am the happy owner of this whizzy little mouse with one slight problem. Every time i put my pc into sleep mode and then wiggle the mouse to wake it up it wakes up but my mouse pointer vanishes completely and i have to shut the computer down by hitting the off button and then open it up again to get my mouse back. Any ideas? yours in hope and thanks Kathy

I should have said that my mouse is brand new so batteries are ok.

I have also checked the trust website but no drivers are available and the mouse was just a plug in to a USB port and off you go, I have however now E-mailed the trust support team for advice and am waiting to hear back.

    Thanks for your help.

    No need to explain.

I have almost the same problems. A very strange and, of course, very bad USB Stick. I use a laptop. During the use of this super-technological device, i touch always on this stick by mistake and the story begins again. They must be congurtulated on the discovering this kind of device. No driver on the website.. Why? Do we have to buy it too?

    Thanks!

Possible solutions for this (and similar problems) include:
--Replace the batteries in your wireless mouse. If the connection strength is weak, wireless accessories have a tendancy to act up.
--Re-Install / update the mouse drivers. I'm unsure if Trust has drivers available for download from their website but it would be worth checking out if the first solution does not help fix the problem.

Wireless mouse and stick won't work

Have you tried to add a mouse pad under it. I have a capricious mouse myself that has to be on a pad to work fine. If you don't have a pad just try it on a dark surface, no glass that's the worst one...

It can also be a simple battery matter, distance is also important depending of the communication technology in use.

good luck

I had all the same problems listed in fixit and found that all it took was placing all NEW batteries in the mouse.
Press the blue light button on the USB and the little black reset button on the bottom of the mouse at the same time. Worked good from there on.

My trust mouse is new and it isnt working it recognises it well so the usb device works but the mouse aind working... :(

- Try using fresh batteries.
- Make sure that the switch is turned ON.
- On the USB dongle and underneath the mouse, check if you will see a small connect button. If there is, hold down the connect button on both dongle and mouse at the same time for five (5) seconds and release them both.
- Try moving the mouse.
- Make sure that there are no possible wireless interference like base of a cordless phone or any other wireless devices such as cell phone. The wireless signal of these said devices might interfere with the wireless signal of your mouse.

Have a great day!

make sure there are no power cables close to the mouse or receiver, I have seen this cause problems many times.

Also try pressing the connect button on the receiver then keep pressing the connect button on the mouse until the receiver light stops flashing

Are you using an optical mouse? I suggest that you have to provide a mousepad since the laser of the mouse will have a hard time to read on its surface especially if you are using glossy surface of your table.

trust me,it works!! =)
