Question about Toshiba Tecra 9100 Notebook
I'm trying to hitch my Tosh T9100 up to an LCD plasma screen.
There's a yellow RCA type TV out on the side but how to you get the laptop to send a signal out through the TV out?
Do yu have to extend screen onto second monitor in display settings?? I've done this but it still dont seem to work??
Sometime you have shortcut keys (Fn + f3 for example) - But I dont have the usel manual to find out.
Any help with thsi would be greatly appretiated.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.
The yellow out from laptop to t/v. is only any use if you have the 3 individual phono plugs, on the set. or an alternative 21 pin scart, with 3 phono-inputs. Red-White ( left/Right Sound ) And Yellow Picture.
Yet again it,s possibly lcd/vga button on laptop to switch.
check the laptop has no rear VGA Output. this may be your Only Way, due to low voltage output from Laptop.
The Toshiba 9000s+ can have daughterboard problems also, so i,d suggest trying to hook it up to another t/v set first. i.e portable or similar. Also check that the Laptop, will bring an external monitor on. Finally. check the T/V is correctly tuned in to receive the signal from Laptop.
