Need help! hi my son has a psp 1001 sony brand and we can't get the game to start playing it will turn the disc then stop but at the bottom right hand corner there is this circle that just keeps flashing need help?

YEs its because its not hacked in other words it cannot play games from your memory stick.. you can hack your psp IF IT DOESNT SAY PSP 3000 or 3001 HOW to check what version it is?? look on the bottom of your psp theres a serial number there keep reading until you see the PSP and there it should provide you with the versions number you can hack a psp 1001 1000 2000 2001 BUT you CANNNNNNNNNNNNOTTTTTTTTT hack a 3000 or 3001 dont try because youll literaly destroy your psp .. You need to update the firmware to GEN 5.5C. This will then allow you to play all games. Have fun!

hey... how old exactly is your psp 1001? i have a friend with the same problem.. turns out something happened to his psp... something happened or that he did something accidentally to his psp...i don't if this is any help but he always played his psp 24/7 and never stopped.. it was always on.. but now sometimes his psp doesn;t produce any sound anymore... try to take your psp back to sony for a repair.

take it to a shop

take off the battery and try again. If this doesn't help then the copy of the mlb game is defective.

Or you can just update your PSP through your computer (if you have internet)

Have you inserted the game disc UMD into the PSP itself? You have to wait a few seconds after you turn it on before the game icon will be visible in the main menu screen before you can access the game. When it's active and you have the game icon selected press the "X" button to start the game.

UMD games play on any unit, the movies are regional.

tiny scratches & finger prints can stop them playing look carefully at the disc.

do the discs load ok? no mechanism damage?
