Give this a shot- get out a couple of pages of computer printer paper, place the paper on a flat surface; lock the key pad on your curve. Place your blackberry face down on the paper and gently (don't press down) rub your phone up and down, back and forth a few times. Try your cursor now, believe it or not, this works pretty well (the paper gives enough resistance to make the track ball move). As long as there isn't a bigger issue with the track ball, this should solve your problem.

I want you to attach an external mouse and see if you can get the cursor to move. If it does, you have a defective driver. Microsoft can diagnose and fix that problem in three easy clicks. CLICK HERE for the diagnostic and fix.

Cursor won't move on my Acer laptop

Dear Friend,

On your desktop press the following key conbination: Fn + F7 if not, there must be a problem with your mouse pad. It might also be that your OS takes time to load or freeze and it make it look that the mouse is not working. You can also try and external mouse.

Good Luck!!!

I'm using a sony vaio Core i7 with Windows 7. While writing something suddenly i found the cursor have moved somewhere else from where i was writing. Can anyone please help?

It could be that your hand accidentally hit the touchpad while you were typing, which would have moved the cursor. I've done this a few times before, so I'm fairly certain that's what happened. The cursor won't move on its own unless someone is controlling it, and it's highly unlikely that you have a trojan or a virus that is doing that.

Hope this helps!

Need the ability to "tab" from field to field on right of kybd

When you press ENTER to finish working in a cell, Microsoft Excel moves the cursor one cell down by default. However, you can select the direction in which you want the cursor to move.
  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  2. On the Edit tab, do one of the following:
    • To change the direction in which the cursor moves, select the Move selection after Enter check box, and then select a direction in the Direction box.
    • To keep the cursor in the current cell, clear the Move selection after Enter check box.
Note When a range or set of ranges is selected, pressing ENTER moves the cursor within the range or set or ranges only.
