One of three places. 1- under the battery. 2- under a panel on the bottom. 3- under the keyboard. You're looking for a large watch type battery, some are in a pouch with two wires leading to a connector. Here's a couple of links for breakdown diagrams on different make and models. See if you can find one for your machine.

Clear password of bios

You need to clear the c-mos on the motherboard. There is a jumper that needs to be taken off the first two pins out of the three, and moved to the last two of the three pins for 5-10 seconds to be sure. However each motherboard will have different placement on where it is. I would find the manual for that motherboard in this case. Usually the jumper is located near the 3v lithium battery. You may take the battery out for few seconds as well, but that may or may not work on all motherboards. WARRING this will reset all your BIOS settings once you clear the c-mos. I do recommend you refer to the motherboard manual.

I think the only way you can reset the bios is to momentarily short the cmos battery and apply main power to laptop.
Of course to do that ,you will need to dissemble the laptop.

C-mos batteries run anywhere from $5 to $15. On the Toshiba's they are located either under the main battery or keyboard. It will look like a watch large battery or it will be in a small pouch, generally yellow or green, and have two leads (wires) that go to a small connector.
