Could be the power supply. could be overheating. but chances are, it's the lamp.

Lp240 projector

power supply is bad and needs to be replaced. unfortunately, there are no parts for this model. infocus no longer sells them, and they were made by another company that no longer makes power supplies. therefore, no schematics either. sorry.

InFocus LP240 Projector won't turn on.

there is a fuse on the power supply next to the plug (on the inside), but this model of projector has power supply issues. the biggest being that infocus no longer has parts, schematics, or component cross references for the lp240. the circuit boards were made by another company that made had their own components and now no longer makes circuit boards (they make fans and bearings), and they have no schematics either. so, i'm sorry to say that the machine is doa. there are no replacement parts available and almost no way to fix the old ones.

Sound from an InFocus LP240 Projector

it's just a line level signal with a 1/8" stereo phono jack. there is an amp and speakers in the projector, but they're meant for presentations, so there's not much to them. but there is no audio out coming from the projector, so you'd need a separate amp and speakers coming from the ps2.

InFocus LP280 problem

Hi there

I'm afraid this might be a faulty Mainboard.

Your lamp will never make the Projector show funny stuff on the image.

Must warn you that a new Mainbaord is quite expensive

Infocus LP240 Projector

The bulb won't do that. What you're describing sounds like a light tunnel failure.

Infocus LP240 projector will not power up

if you don't even get an led, it's the power supply. it may just be the fuse on it. take the top off and see if the fuse is blown. but make sure to replace it with the exact size and type.
