What's the brand of your router and its model number? Is the camera connecting wirelessly? Is it accessible on the local network? And what is it's IP address?

First you have to download Skype or other messenger program and install it. Then use the info below to setup the Audio & Video.

Normal 0 Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.

Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

A. Skype Setup:

After downloading and installing Skype set it up as follows:

  1. Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  2. Then click on the Video Settings.
  3. The camera if installed properly will come up and show a picture.
  4. Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now see and talk to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:

After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger set it up as follows:

  1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
  2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
  3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
  4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

C. Windows Live Messenger:

  1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
  2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
  3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
  4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.
NOTE: You audio and video shoud work. Enjoy.

When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.
Hope this helps. Bud

Can't view IP cam externally

Follow The Process:-
input the port 5000 and check is it open or not, if it is not open it means you need to check port forwarding in your main internet router/modem.
2. By Default Routers/Modems Http port it 80. so you need to change ip camera http port 80 to 81 and do port forwarding and to view on android devices check another ports in ip camera network settings. so same port forwarding and check in yougetsignal website.

Networking the intellinet 503181

There are a couple things to check. Make certain that you have port forwarding enabled for port 80/80 to the IP address of the camera. Make certain that you have port forward for port 8080/0 to the IP address of the camera. Find your IP address for your Internet connection - you can go to and it will display your IP address for you. Then open your browser, type in your Internet IP address on the address line and hit enter. That should bring up the guest log in window and you can log in to view the video stream. If you want to log in to the camera console to change configurations, just type the camera user name and password instead of the guest user name and log in.
Hope this helps!
