When launching Scanwise X I get the error message "Scanwise cannot find the current ColorSync system profile. Please recalibrate your monitor or select another System profile with the ColorSync Control Panel". When I go to the Color Sync Control panel my Scanner isn't listed under devices. I have had the scanner working previously on this computer and I have tried reinstalling Scanwise.

- I think the ScanwiseX software isn't installing properly although I did have it up and working a few weeks ago.

please check whether you have installed the software in Administrator mode only because it can restrict you in establishing the connection..Also try to restart before you reinstall your Scanwise..hope this helps you..thank you!!..
Could be that there is a software conflict that is causing this issue. Uninstall the software and any other scanning software you may have through Control Panel. Next, go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest version of the software for your OS.
You may also want to try using a different cable, in case that is the issue.

- If you are having issues with the current software even after replacing the cable, try this software and see if that helps. Make sure you uninstal the current software first, to avoid conflicts: http://www.hamrick.com/
uninstall your software completely, and then restart your pc, after that re install the software .and check now whether you can see your device in your sync control pannel

I tried to open my scanner but get a message after it warms up A communication problem has occured. Open the log file to find out more. Where is the log file? I can't find it anywhere. How did this happen? I was scanning a photo and it put selection boxes around three of the portions of the picture. I wanted to close out of all of them but the scanner froze. So I did a 'force quit" I have a Mac. Now I can't get the scanner to work! Any idea what happened and how I can fix it. Thanks.
