Answered

Hp Deskjet 5940 printer showing an error msg. "Paper Jam' , but after through check it has been found that no trace of paper inside and the paper feed button is blinking always.

This is mainly about clearing paper, but explains how to clear from the front of the printer and from the back. Not sure from your post if you cleared from the back as well.
A good place to check not mentioned in that page is with a flashlight inside the printer to the extreme right and left of the inside of the printer. At the end of the page are some suggestions about printer settings and paper weights that may help as well.

Actually you are facing E3 error, E3 error is mostly because of paper jam. their may be small bit paper jam in side
There are some "micro-sensors" that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.

To solve it
Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder
If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then
Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air.
If still problem exist then best & final option is to just contact to any HP service provider.

After printing a page my printer spits the page out very hard and then the light indicator starts to flash and on my monitor there is a message about paper jam (misfeed)
PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE OF PAPER SELECTED IN SOFTWARE SIDE. THAT MIGHT BE SMALLER THAN PAPER PLACED IN THE DRAY. A PAPER SIZE MISMATCH SHOULD BE CHECKED. SOFTWARE SIDE(COMPUTER SIDE) PAPER SELECTION SHOULD BE SAME AS PAPER IN PRINTER

The red light with the arrow pointing down keep flashing and it won't print. It the print the first page just fine. What does it mean when the red light is flashing?
Its either a paper jam error or your printer is out of paper,open your printers back cover and check properly to see where the paper jam is located.

HP Deskjet F4185 series says a paper jam error everytime I print using a photo or matte paper.Everything is clean though so I don't know what to do with this error.
did your orinter experience a paper jam before?

try to clean inside again maybe there are small paper left inside

Hi,

The unit may have a paper jam or stuck object inside, if you have experience a paper jam error before, check the printer for any object or paper stuck inside, clean roller.

Some error like this can be a problem on the feeder sensor and by this time you may need to replace and repair the unit.

Paper jam
there is a sensor which detects if there is a paper jam in the printer.that sensor is bit moved from its orignal position so it is continuously detecting the paper jam in your case.
