After a battery pull this message appears: Uncaught exception: Index 3>=3

tHE OPNLY WAY TO FIX THIS IS TO DO A BACK UP AND THEN RELAOD THE SOFTWARE VIA THE BLACKBERRY DESKTOP SOFTWARE ..WHICH YOU CAN DOWNLOAD FROM THE BLACKBERRY WEBSITE , WHICH IS LOACTED UNDER SOFTWARE

I tried all of these and they didnt work, but this did for me and a friend of mine.....
1. go to your main messages folder where all messages go including emails and calls.
2. locate a past conversation over whatsapp (highlighted in green) and open it.
3. send a message to the contact whilst on the whatsapp conversation.
4. come out of it completely and now you should be able to open whatsapp :D

(you may have to set the mail box to display SMS/MMS on the options>inbox settings)

i had error uncaught exception string index out of range 29. but t works the same way for all XD hope this helps!!

Uncaught exceptions are normally to an error with an application. It can be from something you downloaded or the phone software itself. If you installed something recently uninstall it and see if the message comes back. If not, do a back up of the phone with desktop manager. reinstall the OS you can get a copy from blackberry's website and slowly reinstall the third party apps and see if it comes back.

This is usually an error with a recently installed app, (or app that was installed when you saw the error) try this out.
Option -> Advance Option -> Application -> (Application that you have just installed) -> (Menu Button) -> Edit Permission -> Check (Set) Allow All (Check All) -> (Menu Button) -> Save -> Reset Device (Remove Battery & Restart) -> Now start the program

Format your blackberry phone. Goto the Setting>General>Security>.

Password is "blackberry".

Can you use the BlackBerry, or is it locked up? It sounds like an application error -- did you just download or install a new application or game? If so, uninstall it and see if the error message goes away.

You can also try clearing your Java cache and all temporary files to see if that clears it up. Have you tried a battery pull?

i turn on the phone to immediately find a pop up that says uncaught exception index 6>=6 then by its self it will go to white screen that says app error 523 with a reset link beneath it

did you ever get this fixed, mine is doing the exact same thing and just keeps rebooting. I can not do anything with it.

I need to know how to reset or wipe clean because i cant get jpast this message at all uncaught exception:java.lang.nullpointerexception i cant do anything help
