Hi Ive brought a Sony 2dx-gt590ui and sub and amp got it all wired up but the sub only works on radio can you tell me what Ive done wrong???

You can try to connect the remote power wire at amplifier to main power with a jumper wire if sub works with cd and other sources. Then check remote wire from behind radio or you can simply connect remote power wire to a another switched power source from fuse panel.Just make sure its a clean dedicated power source from fuse box and make sure it turns off amp..Goodluck

Water pump has had it & requires battery disconnection to fix it.Bought car second hand, no owner manual thus no code for the stereo in car.

As long as you are the owner, any dealer that sells and services your type of vehicle should be able to help you out with the code as long as you have the ownership with VIN#.

Everytime i disconnect my batter my kvt 911 shows a 4 digit code to be entered in order for the radio to work. Ive brought it to a tech shop twice already and they charge me $40 each time and they wont...

the tech should be able to remove the code completely so you don't have to enter a code. you can also request your own number for them to enter into it. if they refuse, they aren't very honest.

I disconnected the car battery and now i do not have the code for my stereo the serial number is no.3525599, model no.XR-M510 SONY CASSETTE CAR STEREO.

you need to take it to the dealer to have them reset the codein the radio. Unless you have the code, the dealership can reset the code and you can reset yourself a new code. You can also try any electrical shop that has the proper scanning equipment to unlock the radio codes. Hope this helps.

I brought a second hand kenwood car stereo and i need a code to use it

Hi there,

You're in luck!

Click here, it will bring to a page authored by one of our best technicians (Robotek). He outlines the procedure for clearing the code on most Kenwood models.

If this gets you going, don't forget to give Robotek a rating (me as well).
