working 3 weeks ago. well, something must have changed in your network since then, check smtp server with your mail provider if it is scan to email. if it is scan to the file, check firewall, ip addresses, destination folder, login and passowrd to the destination pc.
scan and send works in two ways. It can scan to email, then you have to put smtp server on the email settings and create destination in the adress book. The other way is to scan and send to the file. Create a folder at the destination pc, share it in the network with acces rights for everyone, then create destinatinon entry in the address book. Change it to file, host name would be the ip or host name of the machine you are trying to send to. Folder path is the name of the folder you just created. Login and password would be the l/p for the pc you have created the folder at. and thats it. Should work straight away :)
I possess many Canon Image Runner manuals. I will send you one of them, but it will be alot easier if I knew which IR you own. Send an email to LBrown18062@hotmail.com and I will send it to you. Please put "Canon IR2016" as the subject or whichever manual you need.
