Please if the drum is jammed mechanically. if so you will need to reset with a mechanical job , Please check supply to drum, if absent check the controller unit for failure of the driver. If present then the motor is faulty, if capacitor is present for staring check for failure or attach one in parallel to confirm.

Hi I have an indesit condenser dryer Model: IDC8T3B And it’s no longer heating. It spins but no heat.

A few possibilities, is the blower motor going? If it is not working then it would appear to not be heating.

If it is not blowing it could be the blower drive belt located under a cover in the back. If it is blowing the it may have dropped a thermal switch located on the outer drum, inside the case (if you have a multimeter, measure the resistance across the 2 tabs, open circuit means it is broken). If it is more than that a new heater or switch or timer call a service technician. or buy a new drier

Indesit WIXL 143 washing machine noise

there maybe a coin or something stuck between the two drums, when the machine spins fast it lifts the item up, unplug the appliance and remove the botton drum hose to see if you can get it out.

Severe drum? shaking and display lights flicker during spin cycle

Loose mounting points or broken pins. If not that then possibly drum shaft could be cracked.

My indesit WG1230 washing machine does not spin or move drum but water go in and out.

Hi,
With the door open, try spinning the drum, there should be some resistance along with a slight wherring sound. If it spins freely without much sound at all - you probably need a new belt.
If you can feel it driving the motor, you may need new contact brushes for the motor.
If the machine buzzes when it should rotate on program, you need a new motor Run capacitor also.
If no sound - nothing, the motor may need replacing or at least checking.

Re washing and drying

Hours? It sounds like your machine has a problem.. Have you tried clearing the filter on the outlet after the drainage pump? The Indesit only has a 1200 spin speed so it's not the most efficient drier anyway (rated B for spin efficiency).

Personally I dislike Indesit as they release some models which do not permit replacement of the bearings because the innner and outer drum assembly are crimped/pressed together during manufacture. Instead of replacing bearings and seals (At most about £35.00) you would need top buy a complete drum assembly at about £125.00, and throw away a large lump f stainless steel. Presumably Indesit want you to throw the entire machine away, and to buy a new one. Not a brilliant idea in my opinion, as it is unlikely that a frustrated ex Indesit owner will but an Indesit as a replacement, and that sort of wastage (bearings last around three years in regular family use) makes a complete nonsense of energy efficiency ratings. The cost of manufacture and disposal over a three year usage period will have a massive carbon impact in comparison to the energy efficiency savings even of the most efficient of machines.

The planet can't afford to buy cheap machines and then thropw them away.
