I have a camera Samsung ES 10 but the c.d is misplaced. I want to install the pictures in my laptop

Easiest way is to remove the media card from the camera and put it in a USB card reader attached to your laptop, which will then see the card as a new disk drive

you have to uninstall the software that came with your camera ,restart your system and re install the support software that came with your camera .connect the camera only after the installation is complete. Remember to follow the steps given in the support soft ware.

If you need to get pictures from the camera to the laptop, you should be able to get the software from Samsung's website, but the other way is the use a memory card reader. Your computer may have one built in, or you can get one at electronics stores like Best Buy. Take out the card and put it in the reader, and connect it to the computer. It will act like a flash drive (thumb drive).
If you have the pictures on the laptop in Samsung's software, you may need to search for them. They are in a folder somewhere in your user account.

This could be a battery problem, as the camera draws more power when switched on, to work the lens and focusing. Try changing the batteries. If its still a problem, you have a camera fault.

Select the Finepix series USB driver and follow the instructions to download and install.  This should allow you to access the pictures on your camera. I hope this helps!

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

You shouldn't need any extra software to download your pictures. Most digital cameras are accessible through windows just by plugging them in. Then you can browse through your camera and copy them accross manually. I imagine the Sanyo disc may have had a program that made this automated but I doubt you will find it for download as it would probably have copyrighted material on it. In any case I cannot find it for download.
