We installed the HP designjet on a pc windows vista and we can print everything we want to, the printer is also installed on a mac osx 10.6 snow leopard but there we have some problems for printing our files, what can be the reason for this problem?

Sometimes you need to install new drivers spetialized for OSX Snow

You can unofficially use air print to print from your ipad to your printer. The only catch is the ipad must be on the same network as the printer is. use at your own risk
IF you are using a pc to access the printer there is a free application to allow you to do that. Found here:

1. Make sure you have itunes 10.1 or higher
2. Make sure the printer is setup as a shared printer on your local PC
3. Printer and iOS device should share the same Wifi connection
4. Make sure you have full administrator privileges to enable / disable services on your PC
5. Download AirPrint installer (Found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?yadd9be20rkdpe5)
6. Follow the on screen instructions for installing. And when finished Windows Firewall will prompt you allow or deny AirPrint features to be shared over networks. Click on Allow access button.
7. I have had success with this with Canon printers but offically ony a hand ful of HP printers work with this. Still, worth a shot.

Mac options Air Print Activator found here: http://netputing.com/airprintactivator/ The only catch is it's Mac OSX 10.6.5 and above. (Snow Leopard) This is a free version.

The first thing that you need to do is to verify if your Olympus P-440 is if it's supported by Mac OSX 10.6.x (Snow Leopard). If yes, make sure that you've installed the correct driver for Snow Leopard.
