I turn on TV and it says no signal. When I change input it goes on one time. Then when turned off it goes back to no signal and there is a long delay in changing any settings. It is like an overloaded computer. It is a 40 inch LCD 8 months old. They have changed all the parts two times and the same thing happens.

We are using a Time Warner box and they check it out and it was fine. I will try to attach the set to the cable directly and see if that works. I will also try another input. It seems like the TV hangs up after the first set of instructions from the remote. It takes a few minutes for every new request.

Turned on TV to try your suggestions and it worked perfectly. It held its input setting and did not say "no PC." Strange. I still called Time Warner and scheduled a call. We ran a test over the phone and on the box and it seemed fine. It may be going in and out. Thanks for your help. They extended warranty for 90 days and I will wait to see what happens.

If the Samsung svc. center replaced all the parts twice and it still does the same thing, look elsewhere for the problem. As a samsung servicer I know their parts dept. is very reliable. Few defective parts. It sounds to me like you have an issue with bad cables. Whichever you are using, HDMI, component video, s-video or plain a/v cables, try using a cheap pair on another input for a few days and see if that doesn't improve things. If you are using tv tuner to pick up stations, try the other r.f. input on the set for a short time to see if it is only happening on a certain source. Odds are very low you got two defective boards with the same problem. Suspect external cables. Good luck, Russmann.

The only other thing I can suggest is a firmware upgrade which is avail. from samsung on most LCD models. Although if you had a main pcb replaced already, I would think it had the update. Not to offend anyone but I can't even count the number of times that the cable co. said it wasn't their fault and were eventually proven inaccurate. If the problem doesn't appear from another device, suspect cable box. I have personally on at least 25 occasions experienced time warner boxes having problems passing a decent HDMI signal. Cable cards ****, too. Good luck, Russmann.

I cant keep my tv turned on after i pushed the rgb button by mistake it keeps on displaying no signal and then it goes off

Turn on the TV again. You need to change the input from RGB back to cable or HDMI or Component or whatever input you have a source for. If you don't know which one, look at the back of the TV and the wires you've got plugged into it.
If it's 1 round coaxial cable, change the input to Cable.
If it's three wires (red, white, and yellow) change the input to A/V.
If it's 5 multicolored wires, change the input to Component.
If it's an HDMI cable, change input to HDMI.
If you cannot change the input before the TV turns itself off, try unplugging the TV from the wall socket for about 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in. If its still on RGB, you're going to have to either find a way to get faster at switching inputs, or find an RGB cable and something to connect it to your TV. This is a last resort however.

Wii Signal is not found by TV

First check the basics:
1. make sure video cable from back of unit goes to inputs on back of TV, each color should match (yellow to yellow, white to white, red to red)
2. make sure unit has power cord, plugged in, turned on (blue light)
3. make sure TV is selected as the correct signal input, (many TV's have several inputs Input1, 2, 3, etc.) try them all. To change this look for "source" or "input" on your remote.

Panasonic th-42px60u plasma tv not turning on

Power LED on front panel blinks several times, there is a delay, then repeats. After fiddling and fuming (mostly fuming) I found that changing the input signal source allowed the TV to be turned on. When I changed the input signal source back everything was ok.

In other words...

My TV is connected to my PC's video card via an HDMI connector. My card has 2 HDMI connectors. I moved the connector (the part that comes from my computer) from one HDMI out to the other. The screen powered up. When I changed the connector back to the original HDMI out I got my display back.

So yeah, try changing your input signal source. If you're using cable try switching to your Xbox/PS3/whatever, or vice versa. If you only have one possible signal source then I have no clue.

It's almost like the TV doesn't get any signal from the current cable then goes into sleep mode until it gets another signal. My problem had to do with me changing a bunch of sleep/timeout/screensaver settings on my TV/comp.

Hope this helps someone.

TV input

it is likely that your tv is interpreting a random button on your remote as a signal sent for it to change inputs, next time this happens turn the tv off and back on and note what comes up on the screen, for example video 1,

TV image goes off when VCR power turned on

The vcr is connected in between the antenna (or cable) and the tv, and when it turns on its tuner takes control of the signal. Either:
1) press the VCR/TV button on the VCR to let the signal go stright thru
2) Tune the VCR to the channel you want to watch and set the TV to the VCR's input.
3) If you use a coax cable connection to the TV, try switching the VCR to the other channel (3 or 4, switch in the back)
4) Change the TV connection to RCA cables on the A/V inputs.
Hope Ya Fix It!
