Check fuse on dvd because there is no reason that does not work if the new installations carried out and if everything is well connected.

I put a Pioneer AVH 1400 DVD in 06 solstice have it hooked up working but no sound through speakers I have hot ground remote and speaker wires hooked up what other wires have to be hooked up 4 sound

If the car had an amplified sound system prior to removal you will need to turn on the factory amp. You need to hook up the blue wire with the white stripe. You may have a dedicated wire that you need to hook it to or you may have to hook it directly to the 2 blue wires for the power antenna. Now you may not have a power antenna but hook them up anyway. If that doesnt work you have a dedicated amp turn on wire. If you find that and it still doesnt work check your fuses for the amplifier with a digital multimeter. Replace any blown fuses that you cant find

How to fix eonon g2227 very low sound even at full volume?

Either mute button is on! or when the unit was being hooked up some one hooked up power first then the speakers(Which is supposed to be done the other way) and the speaker wires contacted each other, which will burn up the output transistor! It's cheaper to buy a new one.

Make sure you are grounded and wet your finger and touch it! If anything will bring the power back that will if only long enough to give you a good dose! lol! Start working backwards until you find power (with your volt meter I will suggest this time). I have been in the same situation and there is some little thing that you are overlooking and you are doing it every time. It is sort of like adding a column of numbers and keep getting the same wrong answer every time. If you will start from the bottom and add up you will get the right answer. I wired a ground loop into a Coax cable running from an antenna to two TV's once and it took me a solid week to find it. If going back doesn't work go to the source and start tracing and see where it stops. Also continuity checks could reveal the problem. Check between ground and the neutral or Negative if it is DC and see if you are getting your source there. Only ground one end of a wire that carries any signal it can steal your power if both ends are grounded. I always Daisey Chain my appliance grounds and only have one wire to deal with. The "Idiot Moment" as you described is very familiar to me, it will pass and I guarantee you when you find the problem you will want to kick yourself. It;s just part of it I guess but I wonder if it is necessary, Murphy's Law is very powerful at times. One other thing they use quite often at the RedStone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL that works well on occasion is that is the [SWAG]
method. (Scientific Wild A-- Guess). You never know! Good luck!

XO VIson DVD 7" works fine but when it is turned

sounds like you might have the wire that is always supposed to have power hooked to a switched power source

is it possible you hooked up power wires wrong

sounds like switched wire is hooked to battery and battery connection is hooked to switched source

only other option would be if ground is hooked incorrectly it should be hooked diretly to clean non painted metallic spot on cars body

if you need more help give me more details and i will try to help more

Good luck

Scource button is red but unit doesn't seam to have power?

your red ignition wire is not getting 12 volts. that is why the cd player will not turn on. to test your voltage either buy a voltage tester or take it some where to have them hook it up and test it
