Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer
Hi! I usually can fix my own problems with this printer. This time I am stumped, because I cannot find my manual since I just moved into a new home. The error is referring me to my manual, it is telling me that it is a service error Service error 6A00.
Cancel printing and turn the printer off and then back on.
If this doesn't clear the error, see the printer manual for more detail.
I did all this but, don't have them manual handy. Can you help?
It may be that your printer is due a service. depending how often you use it, i had a similar problem with an epson, every so often the printer needs to be serviced to empty the residue ink tank, this is a small tank that collects all the odd drops of ink, when overprinting, head cleaning etc. it could be just that. thats all i can think of, hope it helps
