GE Profile Arctic Side x Side Refrigerator PSC23MGNA

Freezer temp varies from -25°F to +20°F and refrigerator varies from 32°F to 45°F during a few hours. It won't hold a steady temperature on either side. It's about 3-4 years old. Thermostat sensor and temperature control panel have been replaced with no effect. Temperature settings in refrigerator seem not to be able to correct these extremes. My GE Profile is 2 yrs old and I have the same problem. I came home to find all my food spoiled! It seems many GEs have had this problem, I agree GE should do something, there are expensive units. I have had two MB "upgrades" replaced in the past 7 days to no avail. It's unbelieveable GE can't figure this problem out. And they produce jet engines?

Its just blowing warm air in the freezer section?

No frost build up on the inside back freezer panel?

This link will help you troubleshoot it:

If you were able to do the test... check the compressor unit, also the do check on the electrical relay of the ref.

My GE Profile Side by Side Refrigerator (PSC23MGNA) has ice below the bottom try in the freezer. I tried to thaw out the area on the back but I am not sure where the drain is located. Need Help on wha

drain is located in very back of bottom of freezer an a little ledge 6 inches from bottom.... ice build up normally means drain is clogged and needs hot water / turkey baster to force hot water down drain. (gently chip away ice careful not to crack plastic

GE PSC23MGNA refrigerator. No display light for

Sounds like you have a bad main control board . The original pt # is WR55X10552 . The replacement board is WR55X10656 . Your original board , is on a recall list , and GE should come out and replace under an extended warranty .

Help! My GE Profile Arctica runs 24 hours a day...sounds like a fan. It stops when either door is opened, then starts as soon as the door closes. The temps on either side are higher than what they are set...

It is normal operation for ARTICA fans to run continuosly except when the door is open. If the door remains open for 3 minutes the fans will run anyway.
The temperature will vary about 6 -8 degrees from the selected temperature. The temperature will increase during a defrost cycle.
I do not believe you have a problem.
