Downloading to my MAC computer

I am a complete novice to cameras and my MAC.  Please tell me how to download my pictures from camera to computer.  My computer is a MAC Version 3.0.  I have windows installed in it, if that is any benefit.
Thank you. Juli Quezada

Apple made that very easy with the current operating system, OSX. All you need to do is have the camera off, plug the connector cable to the camera and to a USB port on your Mac. Once you turn the camera on, your Mac should load iPhoto and will give you the option to import from your camera.

My new Panasonic/Lumix DMC-SZ02K Digital Camera only came with PC software and I own a Macbook Pro. Can you tell me where I can find a free download for the Mac compatible drivers please? Thanks!!

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

1. Forget about getting the computer to recognize the camera. Do what the pros do...use a card reader instead of the camera and download to a folder you create on the desktop. 2. Sorry, but "format" completely erases the card with no hope of retrieval. typrice_192.jpg

I got a new mac and I tried to download the pictures from my canon SD360 camera, like a used to do in my old computer mac as well, I download the software Kodak EasyShare that I used in my old computer,...

The old software may not be compatible with the new operating system in your new mac. You could always use a separate card reader to download your pics...works without special software.

How do I download pictures to my computer? I think I have all the necessary "stuff", but have never done this before. As you can see, I'm a novice. . .

Hi,
Please first install PMB (Picture motion browser) with the help of CD if you have and if not Then click here to download PMB according your OS(operating system) and install it on your computer and then attach your camera with the PC and download your snaps from your camera to your pc.
This will solve your problem. Please let me know if you have any further query.
Thanks
