Where did you purchase your printer? Still seems to be available form Epson US:

http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/BuyInkResults.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=24875245

It is not that it is discontinued; the printers do not seem to have been sold in Cceania.

Why have my ink pads come to an end already and how do you change them i have an epson px700w?

Hi

You do not say which operating system you are using.

You do not say if you are using original Epson branded or compatible generic brand cartridges.

You do not say if the printer is new and if this is your first cardtridge change, or not.

Sometimes the cartidges that come with the printer are low volume, starter cartridges. The 2 types of cartridges have slightly different codes to distinguish them.

Some people prefer generic brand, compatible cartridges, which are generally cheaper but can be of inferior quality and some can contain inferior quality ink. Others prefer original Epson branded cartridges, which can be more expensive.

Some Epson printers can take both economy volume and high volume cartridges.

In Windows operating systems, generally:

Start > (Control Panel) > Printer(s) > right click on Epson PX700W icon > Printing Preferences > Maintenance > Ink Cartridge Replacement > follow on screen instructions > head cleaning >print test page.

or

Print a document > Print Dialog Box > click "How To..." > Maintenance > Ink Cartridge Replacement > follow on screen instructions> head cleaning >print test page.

Poor quality prints ( even in black ) Brand new toner cartridge Have tried different qualities of paper

I am a computer dealer in Perth and had to replace 5 of these printers out of my pocket. There is no fix and Samsung was very unfair and refused to replace these shoddy printers. Colour printed fine but black is faded.
It makes no difference if original toners or compatible ones are in use.
Samsung is very unprofessional in refusing to replace these printers with an inherent design fault.

Lost disc to install epsom cx3200 cant use it

This may sound too simple, but why not just hook it up to your PC and let it find the drivers? (I assume you have broadband and are using XP or later). The manual is bound to be on the Epson site, together with all the utilities.

Epsom stylus CX4700 won't print - new ink cartridges installed

They cut costs on Epson compatible cartridges by using low quality ink and chips or not resetting the chips at all. Sounds like you got cartridges that the chips were not reset on so your printer thinks all the cartridges are empty. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and I would never recommend purchasing compatible Epson cartridges from anyone. I would buy refills of Epson brand cartridges and make sure the seller reset the chips.

Epsom cx3200 off brand ink refill

Make sure the print head nozzles are not clogged. You may need to clean the print head. This unclogs the nozzles so they can deliver ink properly. Print head cleaning uses ink, so clean it only if quality declines.

When you don't turn on your EPSON CX3200 for a long time, the print quality can decline. It's a good idea to turn on your EPSON CX3200 at least once a month to maintain good print quality.

1. Make sure the EPSON CX3200 is turned on but not printing, and the Error light is off.
If the Error light is flashing or on, you may need to replace an ink cartridge.
2. Press the left Menu button on the control panel several times until you see Cleaning and then press the Copy button.
Cleaning takes about 30 seconds, during which the EPSON CX3200 makes some noise and the Operate light flashes. Never turn off the EPSON CX3200 while the Operate light is flashing, unless the EPSON CX3200 hasn't moved or made noise for more than 5 minutes. setViewedFAQCookie(14082, 31605);

Epsom Rx620 states use originals for ink cartridges

Try to hold down both 'stop' and 'B&W' button when you press the 'on' button to start the printer machine. This should erase the error message and let you print.

EPSON STYLUS CX3200 PRINTER

Then either the cartridge is faulty (quite likely if it is a refilled compatible) or the head has a fault.

Try another new genuine cart and expect the problem will clear.
