I have PSP 3004 Black Piano. I've been update my PSP to Firmware 6.31 and now i can't play any homebrew games or program. I just wanna try to downgrade it, and i've been googling everywhere, but until this time i still didn't have solution. Can you help me pleaseeeeeeeeeee ;(

you wont be able to play .iso files(games in the iso folder) because you updated to Sony's official firmware. but in order to play .iso files again you will have to hack you psp and make sure its running cfw(custom firmware).

You need to update the firmware to GEN 5.5C. This will then allow you to play all games. Have fun!

your psp most likely unhackable depending on when it was made, Sony incorporated a new motherboard to the psp not allowing hackers to touch the flash files. But if its over 2 years old you'd have a good chance of modding it. Also there are exploits out there concerning your current firmware on pspslimhacks.com but they will only allow you to play small homebrew games.

Currently there are no ways to put custom firmware on a psp 3000, you will only brick the psp trying.

currently only 5.03 FW can be hacked, i simply bought a used psp and asked if i could look at the screen for damage and i checked the firmware to make sure its below 5.03, you cant downgrade it, so ur best luck is to wait or find Chickhen for 5.51 and all the Gen Firmwares

So you having crashed firmware on your PSP.

Try this (WARNING!! not recommended for modded OR homebrewed condition e.g. like m33. Only PSP 1001, 2001, 3001. it may cause bricked):
1. Go to http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/SystemUpdates/PSP
2. Read the update guides.
3. Download it.
4. After the download finished, just follow the instructions given there.
