-   I have an Acer TravelMate 2480-2705. I needed to reset the Bios. I unplugged the cmos battery for 24 hours. I plugged the battery in and the laptop would not start. Is there away to rest the motherboard? I pressed the power button. The power light and three other light came on for about two seconds. The fan did not start. When I press the power button I can hear a sound coming from the board. I can hear the sound if I put my ear close to the board. -   2pointo
