You need to download and install iTunes, once you've done this and after you've plugged your iPod in, iTunes will prompt you to go through a quick and easy set up, then you should be good to go!

My screen is showing white i can here but not see

White Screen of Death
This is probably caused by not allowing the firmware update to finish the installation before disconnecting the iPod. Try these steps.
Reset the iPod:
1.Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
2.Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
3.You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.
Put iPod into Disk Mode:
Apple suggests that you ensure your iPod is charged before following the next step. How exactly you check a charge on an iPod screen that is completely white has yet to be revealed. But hey, give it a shot anyway. Plug the iPod into a high-powered USB port, let it sit for 2 hours, then disconnect it. If you have a wall charger, plug in the iPod, then follow these steps while it is still plugged in.
1.Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
2.Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears
3.Immediately switch your figures to press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until "Disk Mode" appears at the top.
For a lot of people, this solves the problem. Connect the iPod to the computer and (assuming it shows up) reset the iPod again to get it out of Disk Mode. If at this point you still have the white screen, restore the iPod using the restore function in iTunes under the Summary tab (this will erase everything on the iPod and put it at factory settings).
Don't disconnect or eject the iPod until the store is totally done. After you think it's done, wait another five minutes.

My ipod touch 4 wont work! it shows the # symbols (usb, arrow, itunes), and it doesnt do anything else! pleaseeeee help! Thanks.

You must have bought a new iPod!
The screen is simply telling you to connect your iPod to your computer. (You should have iTunes already installed, if not you can download it, and install it for free from the Apple website).
Once it is connected, iTunes will pop up, and the rest of the set up will be simple!

My iPod Nano Died And I Just Bought A New USB Cord And It Wont Charge Or Turn On...It'll Just Show A Little Apple For 2 Seconds Then Go Back To A Black Screen...How Can I Fix This.!?

Welcome to Fixya

Looks like the software just hanged-up on you. Try to reset the Ipod by following the procedures below.

1st option:
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until the Apple logo appears).
You may need to repeat the reset several times.
If the reset doesn't help, then put the iPod into forced disk mode.

2nd option (Disk Mode):
Plug the iPod into a high-powered USB port, let it sit for 2 hours, then disconnect it. If you have a wall charger, plug in the iPod, then follow these steps while it is still plugged in.
Turn the Hold switch on, then back to off.
Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears
Immediately switch your figures to press and hold the Select and the Play/Pause buttons until "Disk Mode" appears at the top.
Note: Do not disconnect or eject the iPod until the store is totally done. After you think it's done, wait another five minutes.

Cheers!

Mi ipod have a text sayin please contact suport

It directs you to the Apple support site because either the iPod software is corrupted or there is a hardware problem. You should try to reset the iPod (try several times). Toggle the Hold switch to on, then back to off (none of the red is showing). Reset your iPod Press and hold down the Menu and Select buttons for 10 seconds (until you see the Apple logo) If you can update/reload the iPod software, this may fix the problem with your iPod. If that doesn't right the iPod, then try to restore it (which will erase the entire iPod and reload the software) in itunes. It will not erase your itunes library, only the files on the ipod itself. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote appropriately and leave a message.

Ipod not charging

Try opening iTunes to see if it recognizes anything first. More importantly set it to disk mode on the main iPod options screen. Remove any songs from the iPod through disk mode into a new folder, (you wont be able to tell as Apple renames and rearranges everything, but you id3 tags should still be recognized when you import after your iPod is fized)Restore your iPod with iTunes. Those are the steps I'd take first. If that works, just re-import those songs into the iTunes library then over to you iPod
