Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console

How to delete wallpaper

Some time ago I downloaded 'Drakes Fortune' wallpaper from the Playstation Store. Under Theme settings (Background) there is no option to delete the wallpaper as I do not want it anymore. I have even tried restoring the factory settings but it still remains! Any help to delete this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Ps3 was owned by someone else and they put a block for mature games how do you get the block off

Unless you know the password they used you would need to completely re-initialize the unit as it was a new one, from the beginning, to wipe it out completely and set it back to factory defaults (sledge-hammer reset).

There is no way I know of to retrieve this lost password if you do not also know the owner's PSN information, which I'm sure you cannot get to. You might Google the question.

Use hidden international wallpapers and themes in windoes 7

When you first install Windows 7, it asks for your language, time and currency. Based on your responses, it installs a set of wallpapers and themes. If you choose English (United States) for your time and currency format, for example, the available desktop backgrounds and themes will include a United States section with scenery from locations such as Maine, the Southwest and so on.
Hidden, though, are background scenery and themes from other English-speaking countries -- Australia, Canada, Great Britain and South Africa. Normally, you can't access those backgrounds or themes, but there is a simple way you can install and use them:

1. In the search box in the Start menu, type C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT and press Enter. (Note: If Windows 7 is installed in a drive other than C:, use that letter instead.)

2. Windows Explorer will launch and show you a list of subfolders under C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT: MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, MCT-US, and MCT-ZA. Each subfolder has wallpapers for a specific country: AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, US for the United States, and ZA for South Africa.
For any of the countries whose wallpaper and themes you want to use, go into its Theme folder, for example, C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT\MCT-ZA\Theme. Double-click the theme you see there (for example ZA).

3. That will install a shortcut to the theme and wallpapers in the Personalization section of Control Panel.
You can now use them as you would any other theme or background, by right-clicking the desktop, choosing Personalize, and choosing a background or theme. They will be listed in their own section.

One day my computer just stopped displaying a wallpaper of any kind. The whole of the desktop background is black. All the short cuts still appear but no image "set as background". Any solutions?

when posting pc problems you need to post your specs such as your operating system version and if it is a laptop or desktop and the model of if it was home built. etc. all i can tell you from that is, well, u either deleted the picture that was set as the background or it got corrupted. Or your theme changed and changed the wallpaper or even the pc or laptop is set to run as efficiently as possible with spending any unnecessary resources so it removed the wallpaper.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune freeze

Deleting the game data and reinstalling via the disk after installing the new firmware update seems to allow play to continue, when nothing else does. Although after about 45 minutes I had a 2nd hardlock and had to delete and reinstall again. I think played for another hour with no issues.

There is a compass on the floor. Match the direction of the statue to what the journal says. The direction of each statue is written in the journal.

How do i take off my background pic?

The user manual is available here; http://www.playstation.com/manual/pdf/PSP-1001K-2.7_1.pdf goto page 102 (Theme Settings) and change the "Wallpaper" to off. Hope this helps :) p.s. the manual is for software version 2.70 which is the one previous to the latest. If your version has different theme menu, please ask again.
