Our Sears dryer Model 68721 works only when in the timed mode

This is usually a sign of a bad moister sensor or cycling thermostat, hi limit thermostat etc, see pics another thing to check is to make sure ur getting full votage at the outlet wall plug in some cases you may get enough power to run dryer but it takes a full 220 to run the heating portion so if not a full 220 is coming in tou my be able to turn on dryer but will have no heat, test with a multi meter at the wall and at the dryer terminal in the back

How do I disconnect a hard wired tumble dryer? It is on it's own circuit but there is just a wire coming out of the wall!

First shut the breaker off to the dryer and be sure because 220 can kill you. Now on the back of the dryer is an access panel. Remove that and you will have 3 or 4 nuts with a wire running to each. Remove them and the wires will pull off. As for the other end of the wire, the only way to see where it goes is to remove portions of the wall to see where it goes. It may very well go all the way to the box as I don't see anyone connecting a 220 midway without a socket.

We were just moved by a moving company and my dryer worked the day before they moved it. Now, my LG DLE7177RM won't power on at all. We had our maintenance come and check the outlet, that's fine, we bought...

Sounds like damage was done to the control panel during the move. You will need a qualified LG tech to test the controls and see if the power button was broken during the move.

LG TROMM DLE7177RM Dryer: when I turn power on it says Clean Filter, filter is clean. when I select settings and turn dryer on it says simultaneously ''DRY'' flashing and ''COOLING'' on -- it ends up...

Ah you unhooked it from the wall, but did you go outside and see if air flow was adequate outside. Quite often flexable hoses and duct work get plugged with lint. If that is the case be glad your dryer had pleanty of safetys. If you start it briefly with the hose disconnected, do you get the dry light flashings? Metal duct work all the way outside is best.

Dryer not producing heat!

Make sure your vent screen is clear of lint, You should also check the actual vent duct which comes out the back of the dryer. It sounds like there is blockage of dust and lint which is not allowing the dryer to properly heat up.
