I just wanted to know if you can only make video calls to people who are with the same company as you or can you call other phones that are with a different company. Im with 3 at the moment and i was wondering if there was any exception because whenever i try to call another phone which is with telstra it automatically comes up with "Video call failed"
First of all you should be in a 3g coverage area also the person you are trying to call should also be in a 3g coverage only then you would be able to make and receive video calls.also you can make video calls to any other network who have video calling feature

We text the pictures from our phone to our email. When you come to the option for save,we put them in the picture file. Then you can also organize them into other files, rename them and all that.We have not tried videos so if that is what you want,I do not know the results but somehow i would imagine it would work.If you end up not being able to figure out transferring video, you could call Samsung or your cell company.Good luck! Greg
video calling is not only based on the phone but also your network provider must have such services available. A few factors include turning on 3G that is enable all modes in the network settings in the phone settings, location is also relevant since video calling only occurs in a 3G network availability environment. This means that when you movve from place to place there may be no assurance that you will get 3G on.
Another best option is to get more information from your network provider.
VIDEO CALL IS ONLY POSSIBLE ON 3G NETWORK. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE IN A 3G NETWORK BEFORE MAKING A VIDEO CALL. CALL YOUR CUSTOMER CARE TO KNOW WETHER YOU ARE IN 3G NETWORK OR GSM NETWORK. IF IT IS YES YOUR RECIPIENT ALSO SHOULD BE IN A 3G NETWORK. GO TO CONTACT>OPTIONS>CALL>VIDEO CALL.

Since your phone supports 3G, For making video call you need a 3g network which offer higher band width. If you have a 3g enabled SIM, then you will be able to video call in 3g network By default. for more details on the 3g service of your network, just call the service provider and they will give the settings for the 3g network and guide you.
