When you turn the t.v. on a loud motor running sound comes from trhe louver location around back left.It runs for a bit then stops and then runs again. While all of this is happening there is no picturs at all. The final step is it shuts down and red light comes on.
You may have a problem with the color wheel, wich is part of the optical engine.press menu and device after the shuts down and the same time and the green light its going to blink a segment of times i could be green x3 times then green 2x stop , then will repeat the sequence 5 times ,just as an example the bkinking times means a number and the number means a code that we would need to see where the error is coming from.hdtvman

It sounds like the compressor is struggling / overheating / failing. When was the last time your stripped the back out and removed all the fluff and debris? It overworks the compressor and gets red hot when the condenser coils get blocked. The struggling compressor causes the humming. Turn it off, keep the doors closed and vacuum it all out. Clean underneath and you might as well clean the floor and walls around it as the plan is to leave it disconnected for 1 to 2 hours to cool down and settle the refrigerant gas/liquid. Some other ideas below.
The evaporator fan motor circulates air over the coils to help keep things cool inside your fridge. If this motor starts to go bad, it will make a buzzing sound as it struggles to circulate air. You'll need to replace the evaporator fan motor to fix this problem. Aug 22, 2022
My guess is that it is running on high head probably caused by a dirty condenser. Try cleaning that. The noise itself is the actual compressor and motor bouncing around inside the hermetic can (what you call the compressor). Good Luck Gilshultz
The motor may have a sticking brush or a dead commutator segment. Turn off power to the unit to check for sticking brushes. Reapply power, does it now run? If not, shut it off, physically turn the motor a few degrees, and reapply power. If it still doesn't run, look for loose wiring around the motor. If it does run, replace the motor armature or the entire motor if the armature is not available as a separate part.
Sounds like the motor's done. That thing is probably the start-run switch. Not worth trying to fix on an old motor. I've found dryer motors to be fairly generic, you should be able to find a replacement. I use Repairclinic.com when I can't get parts locally.
this is a collapsed drum bearing, one of the most costly of the repairs apart from the timer and motor, not normally a job for the diy man unless has an engineering background, sorry,
the cost of repair depends on the age and replacement cost of a machine, a bit like a car, would you buy an engine for a 20 year old car,
if you have a machine thats expensive then the repair could be worth it? stop running it you will cause more damage both to the clothes and the machine
sorry (ps i am a retired appliance engineer of 20 years service)
