Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3m Cellular Phone

Can not receive any signal

My phone can not receive any network...I tried switching to other sim cards but it can not pick up any signal. pls help. thanks.

    i have a sony ericsson w580i and i am unable to receive any signal ... i tried the sim on a different phone and it worked fine ... the service centre said the whole board has to be changed ..

Maby your not in a good signal area for that network

Yes means, There are two possibilities to get this type of issue.
1.You mobile phone receives weak signal from near tower so try to Switch off your mobile,wait few seconds and switch on.

try inserting another sim card so that u can see the problem is in your mobile or somewhere in sim card... if the problem resists with new sim too then your mobile sim card reader holder is loose..

I have nokia n70 but i cannot received and sent text messages nor cannot make a call keep saying network busy. please help me this.


Hello,

1. Turn the mobile phone off for a second and turn on, check if you have network signal. If still not working, try #2
2. Turn off the phone and remove the battery and sim from the phone for a couple of second. Return everything and turn on the phone. If still no network or no signal from you network provider, try #3
3. Turn off the phone and remove the battery and sim from the phone, insert the sim card to your other phone and check if you can make and receive calls and text messages.
4. Insert a your other sim card from your phone and check if you can do the same.

**With this, you can identify what needs to be repaired or replaced. (Sim card or Mobile Phone). If you cannot make and receive calls and text messages using no. 3 method, it is the sim card that has the problem and needs to be replaced. But if with #4, the phone has the problem and not the sim card. You need to contact your Service/Network Provider from technical help.

Nokia N79 network Problem


Your sim card might have died. Turn off phone and pop out sim then turn phone on and off. Pop sim back in and try phone. You can allso go into settings and do a phone resett.
PS: Make sure you didn't put it in airplane mode by accident.

try to do these steps:
1. switch off your phone, remove battery, sim and memory card.
2. reinsert your battery and switch on your phone.
3. on your keypad menu type this code to make a hard reset. *2767*3855#
4. after hard reset, reinsert your sim, battery and memory card and check.

you may also want to try these.
1. remove your sim and have it check with other phone if it's receiving a signal.
2. insert another sim to your phone and check if it will receive a signal .
3. check your phone profile settings, press menu, select settings, select phone profile, select normal mode and check if it will give you a signal.

if you found out that your sim has defect, you may buy new sim and replace it, but if your phone has the problem after all of the above steps, go to your nearest samsung service center and have it check. if it's still under warranty, you may want to consider returning it your phone dealer, where you bought it, and have it replace with new one.

Changed service, can't receive a signal


ATT runs off of the 850 mhz bandwith while tmobile uses 900. The old phone you are using uses tmobiles bandwith and only catches 850 occasionaly. I would suggest trying to get an upgraded from ATT when you signed the contract
