Question about Acer TravelMate 2300 Notebook
When using the power lead to top up my battery. i seem to lose the ability to use the mouse pad, i have lost the original power lead adapter, so had to buy a 3rd party one, do you think thats the problem ? or could it be something else..
would really love some assistance,
What happens if you let your system charge up for a while using the adapter? When you power it on does your mouse work?
Or do you always leave it plugged in cause you killed the cells and dont want to buy a new battery?
If it is option 3 I will tell you on more then 1 occasion systems run horribly on a battery that has been dead for so long. Batteries can cause damage to the motherboard that way as well. Try and unplug the battery and see if that stops the problem
