Re: rca lyra installtion prob
The only website that will have the Vista compatible software is the RCA website - I know the Pearl and other models are Vista-compat now, but I'm not 100% sure about the Lyra. Enter your model # into the RCA support site to find out.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

the card is to larg for the mp3 player use up to 1gb only and do not delete the files that came with the mp3 player or your player will not work use 64k not 32 works better use windows midea player to put music on it mp3 and wma only
If you have Windows XP you need to download Musicmatch Jukebox in order to transfer music. Google it. You will probably have to pay for it. However Musicmatch Jukebox does not work with Windows Vista. If you have Vista, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer music to your Lyra. The Media Player automatically comes with Windows Vista OS. Of course, you need to connect your Lyra to your computer using the proper USB cable, so your computer must have a USB port.
Try updating the player's firmware, you can download it from the RCA Website (http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/)
If your computer doesn't recognize the player, you'll have to turn it
off and keep "PLAY" pressed for 10 seconds while connecting it to the
USB port, then update the firmware.
have seen this as well as if this happened after you tryed to program the unit with your unit them Im afrad to tell ya that you corrupted the firmware in the units Micro. if it happened out of the blue then the4res a fault in the microprossor. sorry couldnt give ya better news. Sometimes the manufacturer will have a way to reinstall firmware for there units call and ask or find them online and email them and if they dont answer keep writting or emailling them.
