I just bought an RCA 27V530T 27" Television, for $15. It powers up, and plays perfect for about 5 min, and then the screen goes blank, and the sound goes off. (the lighted power button on the front stays lit) I tinker off, and on with televisions, because I have been working on classic arcade games for two years now, and see a lot of similarities, between TVs, and arcade monitors. My instinct says it is the flyback, but with the video, and sound shutting off, (TV basically shutting down) it worries me that it could be something else. Has anybody had this problem before? Is it usually the flyback? I can solder well enough to change a flyback.
