Is this problem occuring on a laptop keyboard?
--If this problem is occuring on a laptop keyboard, then it's possible that cleaning will help with the problem. Use canned air and/or a lint free cloth damp with dilluted (10%) isoprophyl alchohol. make sure it's completely dry before plugging it back in. Also ensure that your "function" key isn't stuck or locked and causing the problem.

--If the problem is with a desktop keyboard, then one possible cause would be key-mapping software (depending on your model of keyboard, some higher end allow for the keys to be re-mapped to a new value), make sure thatyou don't have any such software enabled on your system. Otherwise, you could try cleaning to fix the problem but it's unlikely that it would help. If nothing above helps your only real easy solution is to buy a new keyboard for your system.

Many of my keys (including the space bar) are sticking. Nothing has spilled on it. I removed the keys and wiped out anything that may have slipped through the keys. Any suggestions?

Cheap keyboards are not built to last. If you want a long lasting keyboard get a good mechanical one. They may cost a little more up front but you wont need to replace it for a long time.

When i type a sentence and make a mistake and want to add a new word into my sentence the space bar and any keys i touch type over my existing print. how do i correct this.

You need to toggle your overwrite/insert setting.
All you have to do is hit the "Insert" button on your keyboard. Hitting it once will set your type settings so that new text will be inserted instead of overwriting existing text. Hitting it again will toggle it back.

How to use the space bar when typing on screen keyboard?

If you are typing with the mouse, just click the space once to give one space after a word or after a letter. There's no other method or no other way to give space without using the space bar of the onscreen keyboard.

When I try to type @ symbol it comes up as "

To the RIGHT of the space-bar on your keyboard, is there a key labelled as "ALT GR" (ALTernate GRaphic) ?

If so, hold that key down, and press the '2' key.

Or, click Start
Click Control Panel
Click Classic View
Click Regional and Language Options

You may have an additional 'input method" defined,
i.e., for French-Canadian or Swedish or German keyboards,
where some keys are at different positions on the keyboard.
Switch to the 'USA' keyboard.
