New problem with keyboard

Is this problem occuring on a laptop keyboard?
--If this problem is occuring on a laptop keyboard, then it's possible that cleaning will help with the problem. Use canned air and/or a lint free cloth damp with dilluted (10%) isoprophyl alchohol. make sure it's completely dry before plugging it back in. Also ensure that your "function" key isn't stuck or locked and causing the problem.

--If the problem is with a desktop keyboard, then one possible cause would be key-mapping software (depending on your model of keyboard, some higher end allow for the keys to be re-mapped to a new value), make sure thatyou don't have any such software enabled on your system. Otherwise, you could try cleaning to fix the problem but it's unlikely that it would help. If nothing above helps your only real easy solution is to buy a new keyboard for your system.
