email accounts are governed by a simple password challenge. If you have lost or can't remember the password you are going to have to contact your Email Service provider who will most probably ask you a few security questions before they change your email password to a random/default password so that you can gain access to your email account.
Once you have gained access again please make sure that you immediately change your email password to a strong password ( 8 characters containing at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 Uppercase letter, a number and a special character ). Write it down and stick it on the fridge ;) Strong Random Password Generator
Try filling out the website's password reset form. They will ask that you provide them with some information to verify that you are indeed the account owner, but upon answering the security prompts, you should receive an email containing a link that will walk you through resetting your password and regaining access to your account.
I think you left your account unsigned out and some one accessed it. After which he/she changed your account settings or information (password and security question).
But remember that when you signed up (originally), you were asked to insert a back up e-mail address. Do you remember it? Go to it (in the account info or settings) if he/she never changed it, you will be able to access his/her new password entry. If you use it and it opens, please change immediately. You can then sign up for a new e-mail address and send all your mails there, then redirect all the e-mails to your old account to your new account. Don't use this old e-mail as your contact while opening up a new one.
However, if some one changed even your contact e-mail used during signing up, then you wont be able to again access the old account. Some one could have hacked into your account.
This email has been sent to you from face book admin. They think that for security of your account you must change the Password for your account as it is very important for your privacy. Please change your password as quick as you can.
At the time, when you have created an email account there were two question used for security purpose so that no other can hack or misuse your ID. So try to remember that which answer you have given by that time of making ID.
No real way i know of to get around this except to contact Facebook customer support.
I'll presume you've used the "Can't remember my password" option when you attempt to log in? This will send an email to the address you specified when you initially set up your account with a password reset link.
If this isn't working, ie. You're not receiving the email from Facebook - I would highly recommend sending Facebook Technical Support an immediate email as it's possible (though not guaranteed) that someone may have accessed your account, changed your password & your email address (someone would usually need access to your email account to do this).
Yeah they really are concerned. They havent even bothered looking into the problem. Yahoo doesnt care. They are more concerened about wiping out searches on Obamas non existent birth certificate.
