1. In Menu scroll down to Setup 2. In Setup scroll down to USB Mode 3. In USB Mode there are 2 settings MSC Mode & MTP Mode, check or highlight MSC Mode. This enables the PC to recognize the player as a removable Device or Drive. 4. Connect to PC via USB port/cable, the PC now reads the device as MP-C70X5 (E:) 5. In WIN Explorer click “Open to View Files”, on display will be 6 .DIR folders & a .xml file 6. Now launch the VideoConvert.exe (application file) located on the installation disk. 7. Click Input Video button (Browse to the folder containing .avi files) & select .avi file for .mtv conversion (if you want to save the .mtv file to a different destination folder click the folder icon to the right of the Video Output text box). 8. In Output Frame Size box check 176X144 (this is the max size for this device). 9. In Output Frame Rate box check Sports Video. 10. The Output Audio Quality box defaults to Good. 11. Click Start Conversion button. 12. The saved .mtv file can now be copied to the device by simply dragging from its destination folder or ctrl + C & ctrl + V to the MOVIE.DIR folder in WIN Explorer as per step 5. 13 The .mtv file is now saved to the device ready for viewing, however there is just one remaining small lissue which may a software glich or another hassle with this player, because whilst playing video’s every 60 seconds in the background a womans voice exclaims what sounds like “Weeee Gamble” whatsup with that. ionfreez

where did you get the vids from. it sounds like the codec used for the vid is not ipod compatable. you may be able to convert them using free software like anyvideo converter or ipod robot. i tunes can play them because it has a greater library of video codecs (anything installed on the system... almost)
first off when downloading stuff to sony mp3 i have the same one you have to manual transfer also what kind of computer do you have. that would help me help you.if you have a mac then i cant but pc i can. Here is what i do first open computer icon, then click on on ur device it should open with how much free space is left then click it again a bunch of folders will open up. the drag the file you want to the correct folder. thats how i have to put vids and music on it espcial if you want acc file formate music.also what type of file is it music vid of docement. plz tell me then i can better under stand ur request.
ummm u can try what im doing because its working perfect for me i have converted around 20 vids all perfect so here
i use Xilisoft HD video Converter (if u need i can send you just email me) i have cdkey too ... but yah while in the program i use the blackberry setting so that the screen is just the right size not to big or small color n everything is fine and yah if nething else u can just ask me hope this helps email@example.com
im using 4gb MP-705 and i kinda read through the guide thing and the first problem with the ur vids are that, if u sync with window media player the video files becomes WMV, but you want AVI so change it to AVI and drag the files to the coby directly by going into computer-coby blah and movies folder. I dunno about the MTP.BIN and WMPInfo.xml, but i tried everything i knew for making videos work, but in the end it didn't work. Just try the method with dragging and if it doesn't work i dun really know im stuck there. don't forget to converse the files with the small cd program
im using sonic stage to put stuff onto the MP3 player but to put vids on im usings (Xilisoft HD Video Converter) to convert whatever video i wanna put on my mp3 BUT you need to make sure u covert the file to M4A MAKE SURE OF THIS ... i have tried mp4, avi, blah blah and NOTHING ELSE WORKS but M4A does n it works PERFECT =) so yah u can either use the program i use to download anyother converting program as long as it will convert to M4A lik avi to m4a n blah blah blah okay hope this helps because it helpd me n i can put vids on now thank you
u can watch videos on ur psp only if u r havin original memorystick ,nt the one purchased from grey mkt. u can convert any video u like to MPEG4 coz it is compatible with psp and then transfer it to ur video folder in psp.
well if u got the touch screen sylvania mp3 player (4gb) it tells u in the instruction manual to turn on the mp3 player go to settings and then system and then go to touch calibration ur suppose to do that thing with the crosses 3 times... like it shows u three arrows that u have to touch with the touch screen pen... your suppose to do that before using the mp3 player at all.... but whut im having troubles with is how to put games on to it......?????.......
