My hp pavilion 7915 tower had a shortage. is their a way i can reset it so it can work again?

  1. If wanting to clone or transfer operating systems from another computer where one has a malfunction deficiency in programs requesting restoration from another with system compatibilities. Prior to the process, a compatibility check has to be performed on both devices, an estimate of the damage is determined on the computer requesting cloning to ascertain if any changes in software or hardware is required prior to the initial process commencement. Thereafter, the accessories that would be required like cables to link both devices are attained before the entire cloning starts.

Usually two computers are capable of sharing one operating system considering several conditions. First, both computers have to the have same operating system where one has experienced a malfunction requiring repairs from the other. Second, both computers prior to a clone require capacity checks. Usually the host computer would need available space to create back up before the cloning process begins should any malfunction compromise both devices integrity. Second, the receptacle computer requiring cloning depending on the conditions would require available disk space to contain the entire clone programs. Usually the cause of a computer to require restoration altogether of operating system requires evaluation since most computers only have enough space to contain an operating system with user interface fonts for productivity. Estimate the conditions on the damaged computer to ascertain if an erasure of disk spaces would be required to create spaces. Also, keep in mind that computers would not clone another system of its own if remnants of the master system are recognized as being present on the hard drive disks. The process of freeing the hard disk drives of spaces for cloning is called formatting achievable with some computers. However, the condition of formatting when not possible due to crashed or program compromises may simply require changing a new empty hard drive before the cloning would be made possible. Once the host computer is has the capacity to power an external device it nature either as available disk space to create backup required prior to cloning or usually a system checks to ascertain that the alternate computer has the capacity to receive every data. Alternately, the receptacle computer may have required changes of parts prior to cloning. A mentionable example includes hard disk drives to contain the new programs, also required to have enough space to create backup once the computer cloning is achieved. The next requirements check for cloning is ascertaining the appropriate cable connection that would be bridging the space gaps for data to be transferred. Usually an effective cable has the capacity to be recognized by both devices as measure prior to any cloning communications. Also, an efficient cable should have the most capacity to transmit data at quantities that does not cause malfunctions discussable. For example, the cables capacity may actually be able to transfer data only not capable of transferring every data size requiring transfer. Once the process is began with such a cable, some computers would transfer only what is achievable to the negligence of what is unachievable. However also, cable incapacity to transfer every data would would last several durations during the process o cloning. Simply said, the cables require compatibility to both computers, second an enormous capacity to outperform prevents any malfunction on the cable connections part during the cloning process.

  1. Alternately, a computers operating system is replaceable simply by acquiring the restoration programs at retail markets. However, the original computers restore operating systems program has to be acquired with details acquirable as computer type, year, models, and versions as guideline references in acquiring operating systems programs at retail. The reasons for such evaluation include acquiring a program that simply is adaptable to the malfunctioning computer. Alternately, a different operating systems program is acquirable on the retail market to replace the malfunctioning computers systems only with some conditions considered. First, the computer has sigficant parts that integrated with the prior operating system that may need alterations altogether to function with the newer but unique brand away from original brand specified. If choosing to acquire an alternate operating system from the original several additional alterations are required. First, the computer hard disk drive may need replacement either since most operating systems would not override an existing version unless every existing remnant programs were erased completely. Also, keep in mind that the older disk drive had spaces available to store programs from the older operating system that may have a unique requirement of spaces to perform. Acquiring another alternate operating system at retail may be compatible with the computer only the computer has least available spaces in store for separately engineered system programs. Simply said, each device has a set of requirements to perform with the remain ones on the computer being repaired. Where changing once original part that was connected to several other would require acquiring additionally the same remnant compliment from retail to achieve compatibility standards.

The operating system acquired on the retail market is usually in the form of a disk CD that is simply inserted into the computers drive medium from which restoration instructions are generated to achieve user experiences. For example, inserting an operating system disk CD in the drive of the computer should request either repairing the prior existing version on computer or simply replacing the entire system features. Usually, each acquired disk has instructions on the systems reconfiguration as would be termed. Alternative descriptions of the process are restorations, rebooting of installations of systems programs.

Important notes to be wearisome about when working with computers operating systems includes software and hardware compatibilities where a change may require alteration of the remaining, else a malfunction response would be likely. For example, the operating system is the command interface of the computer. Each operating system has functionalities where for example, the malfunctioning computer may have been designed for office productivity causing the manufacturer to install the compatible requisite program system for such an experience to be achievable. Especially on a computer that requires every functioning parts recognizable for communications to be achieved during user experiences, a change in one significant part that would achieve computer user expectation may not necessarily equate to every component parts usually functionality prior to replacement parts.

Consulting with a computer systems technician to achieve the experience would guarantee an experience of restoration functionalities were the computer user simple retrieves a device at functioning mode soon after repairs are completed. The significance of consulting with experts is several mentionable. First, professional hand tends to perform expectedly on devices. Second, experts are capable of the repairs without gimmicks experienced with alternate persons.

Hi, You can check the available **** space on your computer by going to Disk Management Utility in Windows XP. You can go to the utility by going to run then typing compmgmt.msc > then click on Disk Management > this utility will indicate the free space and also will give the total size of you hard disk drive. See if there is an unallocated disk space on the computer. You can right-click on it then choose to format it and then assign a disk drive letter like drive d: . Low disk space

If you are using windows as your o/s; open the control panel, click on performance & maintenance, run a disk cleanup then defrag your drive. The recovery bar red means that the space allotted for recovery operations is very low. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

I have a acer aspire 5050 laptop/notebook and everytime I try to watch a video on youtube or just serach the internet, it's slow and the wors, "low on disk space" pop up. I click the clean disk...

Acer partition thir drives as standard install.....open my computer and you should see a C drive and drive called data (probably E drive)...when the C drive is low on space windows doesn´t have enough room for a swap file and really slows up......move some of your less used files from My Documents to the Data drive by cuttting and pasting......Make sure you leave at least 700mb free on your C drive so windows can work normally
Also go into internet options in control panel in the general tab under browsing history click setting....where it says disk space to use lower the value to around 300mb....click ok and close window....this should free up a bit more disk space

Regards

I have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop. It was telling me I have low disk space on Presario_RD (D). I have already deleted alot files and programs and I have also did a disk cleanup and ran the disk...

"low disk space on Presario_RD (D)"
This looks like you are running low on disk space on your D: drive, not your C:. If you were deleting files and programs, I bet it was on C:
It is now very common for manufacturers to split the hard drive into 2 partitions, C: for everyday use and a smaller D: partition that hold recovery files to restore the computer to a factory install state. If your computer was set up this way, the D: is not suppose to be used but I have run into systems were backup programs are putting the backup files on D: and filling it up.
You need to find out what is writing to D: and stop it and then remove the files it placed there.
Be very careful with D:, if you remove the wrong files you may not be able to reinstall windows if you have a serious problem unless you have created recovery CDs.
