Hey tycoon211,

If your computer lost power before installation could be completed, some of the files that were being installed may have been damaged or corrupted. Unfortunately, this means that the best solution to peruse may be dictated by the error messages (if any) you are receiving when you attempt to play or uninstall the game.

In many cases, damaged files should be limited to the actual game installation files themselves, but problems have been known to surface in temporary directories, the Windows Install Shield program and even a computer's registry when such problems occur.

As such, the first course of action I would suggest would be to write down any error messages you see when you attempt to play, install or uninstall the game. Once you've done so, you may wish to contact the technical support hotline for the game publisher to see if any diagnostic tools or FAQ's are available for the errors you have encountered.

Next, you may need to manually remove the entire program from your computer in order to reinstall. This can typically done by accessing the "Add/Remove Programs" option found within the Control Panel of most Windows versions, but you may also need to delete any folders left behind in your "Program Files" directory in order to reinstall the game.

If neither of these steps help resolve the problem and you are still unsure how to proceed, I would strongly recommend contacting your local computer repair facility for further assistance. While registry, Install Shield and other errors can often be corrected, you do run the risk of causing further damage to your computer if you attempt to make any changes or corrections with which you are unfamiliar.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

Problem running Civilization IV with Windows Vista

Okay, i play Civ IV on my system and i run Vista as well. Your best bet is the tweak with the compatibility. Find the install folder and look for the .exe that launches the game (civ.exe i think, don't hold me to that though). Right click on it and click on properties, then the compatibility tab. Try dropping the compatibility to win xp and see if that helps. If it doesn't, post your system specs and we'll work from there

dear friend .
you need to insert the cd for cricket 2007.
(it may be two cd pack)
insert the cd1 then autoplay starts .
and starts installing if it does not start automatically.
double-click on your cd/dvd drive.
after it starts it asks for key which u can get from
crack folder and right click on rid07 aand run as .
it generates the key which then can be used for the installation.
after that it asks for cd2 insert it and finish installing .
for playing u need to copy all files form crack folder.and paste them in your EAgames/cricket07 and replace existing file.them u can play the game.
thanks for reading the solution.

My dell 3000 wont play games

If the cd is not starting on its own, click on "My Computer" then click the drive letter the cd is in. This will usually launch the installer. If not look for a setup.exe or installer.exe file after double clicking the cd's drive letter.

Hope this helps
